Hey guys. How are we doing? Good I hope..
When I was contacted by Nigerian made and owned brand ‘Beautifully Crafted’ to collaborate on a giveaway for my readers, I was excited for two reasons: My wonderful blog readers get to win stuff and also because I’m beginning to embrace ‘Made in Africa/Nigeria products a lot more lately and so this was just perfect.
So I and the people at Beautifully crafted have been giving away bottles of their Hot Oil treatment with Hemp seed oil on Instagram since the 1st of this month and this will go on till the 10th. I mentioned in my last post that you guys follow my IG page so you won’t miss out on this and some people have been winning!!! Yay! I didn’t post about it on the blog earlier because I wanted to do a review of the product and the courier company had some issues delivering it to me so I’m sorry for the delay. Let’s get to it shall we?
Some of the benefits of Hemp seed oil for your hair are:
-Its moisturizing properties. Hemp oil will prevent water loss and inject moisture into the hair and scalp.
In addition, it is easily absorbed by the scalp and hair, so it doesn’t get sticky and leave a mess.
– Hemp oil also helps to enhance the growth of hair on the scalp in a number of ways. Among these is through the Omega3, Omega6 and Omega9 fatty acids, which are necessary in stimulating growth. The oil also improves blood circulation on the scalp, which ensures that the hair follicles are nourished enough to support hair growth.
– Fortunately, one of the hemp oil benefits for hair is strengthening.
When hair is excessively dry, it becomes weak and breaks easily. Hemp oil is able to maintain hair’s natural texture and makes the scalp livelier to better support the hair.
Left to me, I think this is all the review you need lol.. Common!
Anyway, I have complained about the way my hair sheds on wash days sometimes and at a point I was getting worried till I started doing hot oil treatments as a prepoo! And that was basically it. I have been using my oil mix from this POST and it worked fine but the second I tried this hot oil treatment from Beautifully crafted, I was impressed. I received 2 bottles, 1 8oz and 1 2oz bottle and no I’m not sharing lol.
It like the way it smells, I like how it feels on my hair, and I love the shine that’s still present on my hair even after the shampoo. Im saving pictures of my hair till my nappiversary post which should be up soon so no pictures today lol.
The packaging is so pretty also and the fact that it’s in an applicator bottle is just pretty great! Ease of application and all that!
So there’s still 4 more days to enter for this giveaway so you should totally enter. The rules are very straightforward. All you need to do is all you need to do is post a picture with your own hair (could be natural or relaxed) and state what hair challenge(s) you’re hoping to overcome. Then follow me @naturalgirlonabudget and @beautifully__crafted and tag us both in your picture! That’s it! Getting your friends to like the picture could put you at an advantage too.
My hair turned one year old early this month so I’ll be sharing scoops and all the details of the length I retained, my regimen and all that. So see you in my next post!
All my love… Ella
