Hello guys. Yay happy new month! This my appearing and disappearing act has to stop right? Lol It would.
I’m reviewing a product I received from Sizzelle store (@sizzelle) on IG about a month ago. It’s a shampoo made by ‘Simply organics’ and if you’ll like to know what I honestly thought about it, if I would recommend this product and all that, please keep reading.
So the name of this shampoo I received is ‘Simply organics rosemary Jamaican black castor oil shampoo’. I particularly chose this product because of the oils it had in it.
First five ingredients: Aqua, Sodium methyl-2, sulfolaurate, cetylbetaine, lauryl lactyl lactate. Lol I really don’t know about all these but the oils and extracts start at number 7 or so.
Usage: I usually shampoo my hair bi-weekly or even once in three weeks and then cowash at other times but because I wanted to give a review, I used it every weekend in the month of march (wash days).
Recommendation: I noticed that when I did a pre poo before using this shampoo, my hair wasn’t dried out after wash. It was clean but not dried out and also very soft. The rosemary in it makes it such a soothing wash. If you’ve been reading my blog, you would know how much I love that! When I didn’t do a pre poo or hot oil treatment before washing, my hair felt stripped. Too squeaky clean. So I went hard on the conditioner to make up for my lack of prepoo and to return moisture back to my hair.
Also, a little goes a long way with the shampoo. It lathers really well and has a creamy consistency so this 8oz bottle should last a while.
Would I recommend it to you? definitely if you prepoo. I’m sure continued usage of this shampoo will do good to your hair because the benefits of Jamaican black castor oil, jojoba oil and rosemary to the hair = lit! Again I’ll strongly suggest a pre pop or hot oil treatment prior to usage.
It has a rosemary ‘ish’ smell. Good enough for me.
